#1. You're approaching a stop sign where there is no stop line, sidewalk or crosswalk. What should you do?

Slow down and proceed with caution.

Stop three metres before the intersection and inch up slowly.

Stop just before the intersection.

Stop only if pedestrians are waiting to cross.

At a stop sign, you must stop at the stop line. If there is no stop line, stop before the marked crosswalk. If there is an unmarked crosswalk, stop where you would if there were a marked crosswalk. If there is no crosswalk or sidewalk, stop just before the intersection.
