#1. You see a large animal directly in front of you and you cannot avoid it. What should you do?

If you can’t stop in time to avoid hitting a large animal, lessen the impact by braking firmly and steering to strike the animal at an angle. Also, let up on the brake pedal just before you hit the animal. This will cause the front of your vehicle to rise and reduce the chance that the animal will come through the windshield.
