U-turns are illegal on a curve. They are also illegal on or near the crest of a hill, where you cannot be seen by other traffic within 150 metres. You must not make a U-turn at intersections with traffic lights. You may not make a U-turn in a business district except at an intersection without traffic lights. Of course, you may not make a U-turn where signs prohibit it or it would interfere with other traffic.
