Slow down and proceed with caution.

Stop 3 metres back from the intersection and inch up slowly.

Stop just before you enter the intersection.

A stop sign always means that you must come to a complete stop. Where there is no stop line, no crosswalk and no sidewalk, stop just before you enter the intersection.
