#1. On the freeway, you are approaching a freeway entrance where other vehicles are attempting to merge. You should NOT

move into the lane to your left if it's safe.

When you are driving in the right lane of a freeway, other drivers may try to merge from an entrance lane. It’s not always easy for them to find a safe gap, so move into the lane to your left (if it’s safe) to give them room to merge onto the freeway. If it’s not safe to change lanes, adjust your speed to allow a large enough gap into which they can move safely
