The supply circuit provides a continuous supply of clean, dry, compressed air for the braking system. The supply circuit compresses and stores air in tanks (reservoirs). The supply circuit includes a compressor to compress the air, a governor to control the compressor, an air dryer to dry the air as it cools, a supply tank to store the dried air, a safety valve in case the air pressure rises too high, and a drain valve to drain the supply tank.
