#1. If an air line ruptures between the compressor and the supply reservoir, what will prevent loss of air pressure in the service brake system?
A one-way check valve is installed at the intake (entry) port of each service reservoir. If air pressure is lost in the supply reservoir or the air lines leading from the supply reservoir to the service reservoirs, the one-way check valves will close, preventing air from leaving the service reservoirs.
